Build order: official API first, then a maintained third-party or open-source connector, then a file drop, and supervised browser automation only as the last resort.

What happened
The supervised browser session hit the MFA prompt at 5:58 AM and stopped. Two attempts, both stopped at the same screen — nothing was submitted past it.
What it means
The pay grid for this period was not built. Estevan's missing Saturday clock-out and the two Torquay trial-shift approvals are still sitting in front of it.
What did not happen
No pay grid was written. The pre-flight brief is exactly as it was yesterday, unchanged. Nothing was submitted to Payworks. No pay run was finalized. The automation stopped at the door instead of guessing what to do with credentials it doesn't hold.
What happens next
It retries automatically at 4 PM. Brian gets one credential re-authentication to do — roughly a minute — and the pay run doesn't close until Friday, so there's time.
